Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026 · Effective: April 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These terms govern the use of https://www.kwikcranston.com and the services provided by Kwik Plumbing & Heating ("Kwik Plumbing & Heating," "we," "our"). By using this site, scheduling a service call, or accepting an estimate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site or schedule service.

2. Services we provide

We provide residential and light-commercial plumbing and heating services in Cranston, Rhode Island and the communities listed on our service-area page, including drain cleaning, water-heater installation and replacement, boiler repair, gas-line work, fixture installation, and bathroom remodels. All work performed by us is done by licensed Rhode Island Master Plumbers operating under license number RI Master Plumber License #MP-6247 and is fully insured.

3. Estimates & pricing

Estimates are provided in writing prior to work. Pricing is itemised by labor, parts, and any disposal or permit fees. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Final invoices may differ from the estimate only if: (a) additional defects are discovered during the work that require unforeseen repair, (b) a customer-requested change adds scope, or (c) parts pricing changes before installation — in each case, we obtain authorisation before proceeding.

4. Scheduling, dispatch & cancellation

Service appointments are scheduled by phone or through the online quote form. Standard hours are Monday–Friday 7am–6pm and Saturday 8am–4pm. Emergency after-hours dispatch may be available at additional cost; call (401) 639-1047 to request. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least four hours advance notice; cancellations within four hours of a scheduled appointment may incur a trip charge.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, credit card, and ACH transfer. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the rate permitted by Rhode Island law. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on a property where invoices remain unpaid more than 30 days past due, in accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 34-28.

6. Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for one year from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment apply per the manufacturer's terms — copies of those warranty documents are provided with installed equipment. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, freezing, water-quality issues outside our control (e.g., sediment from municipal mains), tampering by anyone other than our staff, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, contact us at (401) 639-1047 or kwikplumbingoffice@gmail.com — we will inspect the work and repair any covered defect at no charge.

7. Permits & inspections

Where required by Rhode Island state plumbing or gas code, we pull the permit and schedule the inspection on your behalf. The cost of the permit is itemised on your estimate. The inspector — not Kwik Plumbing — is the authority that signs off on code compliance.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim arising out of work we perform is limited to the lesser of the actual cost of repairing the defective work or the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost revenue, or damage to personal property unrelated to our work, except where Rhode Island law prohibits such a limitation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.

9. Website content

All content on https://www.kwikcranston.com is provided for informational purposes. Plumbing and heating work should only be performed by licensed professionals; we do not warrant that any DIY guidance referenced here is appropriate for your specific situation. The site, including its layout, copy, photographs, and graphics, is the property of Kwik Plumbing & Heating and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Governing law & dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms or related to services we perform shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island. Either party may pursue small-claims relief in the appropriate Rhode Island District Court for claims that fall within its jurisdictional limits.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site or continued service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
